Arrangement in Grey and Black No.1, the formal name of Whistler's Mother, is an oil painting done by James McNeill Whistler in 1871. The painting depicts the painter's mother, Anna McNeill Whistler. It is housed in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, France.
