The Potato Eaters is an oil painting by Vincent van Gogh. He painted it in April 1885 in Nuenen in the Netherlands. It depicts a family of peasants called the de Groots eating a meal. It is housed in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
