Sunflowers


Sunflowers (called Tournesols in French) refers to two sets of paintings done by Vincent van Gogh. The first was done in 1887, and shows flowers lying on the ground. The second set, painted in Arles, France, shows the flowers in a vase. Shown above is the fourth version of the second set of paintings (painted in 1888).
